Jennie Hagevik Bringaker: Performance 6/4

Exhibition Opening and performance at Sami Center Contemporary Art

Saturday 6. April at 18:00

About performance:
Jennie Hagevik Bringaker and Erlend Hogstad have worked on a performative work for Aase Texmon Rygh Møbius sculptures. In the interaction with the exhibition space, the performance will illuminate and bring about the transition of the Møbius band between different states. The duality, the organic bonds, the eternity and the material process. The static silent and contemplative sculptures become an art form that builds on one here and now and the perishable. When the performance is over, the eternity sculptures stand back.

At the exhibition opening of Time for Sculpture # 3, there will be a performance with the two Oslo-based artists Jennie Hagevik Bringaker and Erlend Hogstad. This takes place in the exhibition hall with the sculptures of Aase Texmon Rygh.

Jennie Hagevik Bringaker, b. 1978, lives and works at Strømmen in Akershus. She works in a cross field between sculpture and performance and has a background from the Academy of Performing Arts, line for Scenography and New York University, MFA in Studio Art.
