Elin Kåven from Karasjok, has been a singer, joiker and songwriter for over 20 years. She first became known for her three solo albums and in the last 5 years we have seen her in two different bands. “Elin & The Woods”, which has participated twice in the Melodi Grand Prix, and in the Sami Grand Prix. “Róhta”, a band that combines Viking and Sami music, has released its debut album in June 2023. In all her projects, she has a strong connection to nature and Sami culture.
