Call for Applications: Production Grant for Visual Artists in Sápmi for 2024
Sámi Dáiddaguovddáš (SDG) / Sami Center for Contemporary Art announces 4 production grants
of 50,000 NOK each for visual artists wishing to work on site-specific projects (outdoor or indoor) in Sápmi. The grants are made possible through delegated funds from the Visual Artists’ Aid Fund (BKH) to SDG. Production grants can be applied for by artists with membership in SDS or with Sámi affiliation.
Application requirements:
The artist must demonstrate a connection to Sápmi (max. 1 page)
Concise project description (max. 1 page), with any sketches/images (max. 3 images), and budget
Explanation of where the project will be carried out must be provided with an invitation letter from an organization, gallery, or museum

Applications can be written in Norwegian, Northern Sámi, or English
