Tool-kit: Curating Indigenous Art

Prof. Melanie Sarantou is a research fellow for the European Commission H2020-funded project Acting on the Margin: Art as Social Sculpture (AMASS). “…empathy within communities of research is not a given, but an ongoing process. Once formed, it requires ongoing activities and revision of interest and agency, much like the ethical issues of informed consent…” (Sarantou, Akimenko, & Escudeiro, 2018).

Lectures are planned to take place at Sami center for Contemporary Art and via remote connection through Teams.
