10:00 Curator-talk by Prof. Melanie Sarantou. Prof. Melanie Sarantou is a research fellow for the European Commission H2020-funded project Acting on the Margin: Art as Social Sculpture (AMASS). Her research and art explore concepts of marginality, which can be defined by remoteness and conditions of isolation and migration emphasized by the geography of the Arctic and the far south.

12:00 Curator-talk by the researcher Laura Burocco, the Centre for Research in Anthropology (CRIA), University of Lisbon, ISCTE. She holds a post-doctoral in Visual History and Theory at the Centre for Humanities Research of the University of the Western Cape, (CHR-UWC) Cape Town, and in Visual Languages at the Post Graduate Program of the School of Art of the University of Rio de Janeiro (PPGAV-EBA/UFRJ), and a Ph.D. in Communication and Culture from the School of Communication of the same University (ECO/UFRJ) in Brazil.
