Lene E Westerås is a Sámi-Norwegian visual artist and author. After a decade in the Middle East, she shifts between continents through a conglomerate of bazaar mannequin faces and the imprints of a rediscovered ancestral homestead. Integration into landscape, kinship, and touch are fragments in an exhibition presented through photography and installations.

This autumn, Westerås fills nearly 300 square meters, filling both Hall A and Hall B at the Sámi Center for Contemporary Art.

Exhibition period: September 19 to November 16, 2025

The artist will be present at the Sámi Center for Contemporary Art throughout week 38 and will be available for interviews on-site by appointment.
